The International Students Week (ISW) 2012 is already over. :( We had a great week with many fabulous events and a lot of new impressions. Thanks a lot to all visitors, volunteers and our partners for their great cooperation.

Spring...
The International Student Week (ISW) supports intercultural exchange between local and international students as well as citizens of Leipzig. From the 20th to the 27th of May there will be more than 30 events in the areas culture, science, politics, sports and food organized by different organisations and associations.
This year is the 18th year of the ISW. 1994, the World University Service, the International Office of the University of Leipzig and Students organised the first ISW to fight against racist motivated acts of violence. Nowadays, the ISW is organised by the Student's Council of the University of Leipzig (StuRa). The ISW offers a possibility to intercultural organisations and associations of international students to open up towards students and citizens. With the topic "spring" the ISW 2010 wants to encourage awareness for tolerance and multicultural life - and we want to have lots of fun together.
Invitation for our coordination meeting
We would like to invite you to our coordination meeting for the International Students Week 2012 in Leipzig. It will be held on February 2nd around 5pm in the Ziegenledersaal of the StuRa (Universitätsstraße 1, 04109 Leipzig).
As a central theme we propose "Frühling" ('spring' in German)! We hope to be able to put all events in reference to it. The ISW will take place from May 20th to 26th in Leipzig.
We're looking forward to seeing a representative of your organisation here. Perhaps she or he will already bring some ideas with her/him.
